BotCast Testing Kit

This kit's purpose is to evaluate the experience of BotCast. As such, the media robot "SPC-101C", the new Speecys OS (Speecys OS ver2.1), and the new Bot Casting control application "BotRoller" are offered within this kit.

   

※The PC, router,and network required for operation are not included. Internet access and WiFi router are also required. Settings must be configured on the PC. In order to display the camera view on the PC, a separate upscan converter is necessary.

PC BotCast Application "BotRoller"

"BotRoller" is a BotCast control application used to openate the internet robot "SPC-101C." Using this, it is simple to have the robot perform some of the tasks listed below.

New OS "Speecys OS ver2.1"

The new version of the Speecys OS has a UNIX system NetBSD as a base OS equipped with a motion playback engine.
Supporting TCP/IP, UDP/IP communication protocol and using FTP or Telnet to transfer motion and audio data, this customized OS allows users of the network the flexibility found in the culmination fo these technologies.
Another advantage of the NetBSD is its excellent software development capabilities. With abundant resources, this tool allows for efficient application development.
The motion playback engine receives wireless LAN signals from the BotRoller, allowing immediate motion playback. Music and LED light synchronization also becomes possible in this way.
